Milan, May 11 (LaPresse) – Explosions this morning in Kiev. Russia is trying to attack the capital with drones and the air defence is in operation, according to the Telegram channel of Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, filmed by Rbc-Ukraine. "Air defence forces are operating in the capital. Stay in the shelters," Klitschko's message read. A few minutes later, the information was confirmed by the city's military administration. According to the Kcma, the air raid alert in Kiev was triggered by the threat of drone attacks. "An air alert has been declared in Kiev due to the threat of enemy attack drones. We urge residents to immediately go to the nearest shelters and remain there until the alert is over," the authorities asked the population. As of 6:01 a.m. Kiev time, the air alert is active in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
