Milan, May 12 (LaPresse) – The American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander has been handed over to the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the Israeli broadcaster Kan, citing Israeli sources. The young soldier was kidnapped from his military base in southern Israel during the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which triggered the war in Gaza. He is now expected to be handed over to Israeli authorities.
