"I really think we like each other a lot," he emphasized at the beginning of a bilateral meeting with MbS. The Crown Prince has already promised about $600 billion in new Saudi investments in the United States, but Trump joked that $1,000 billion would be even better. Trump kicked off a four-day trip to the Middle East today in Saudi Arabia, focusing on finalizing economic agreements with a key regional ally, while concerns over Iran’s nuclear program and the war in Gaza remain in the background.
