Antalya (Turkey), 15 May (LaPresse) – With regard to Libya, "I believe that by tonight, all those who wish to return to Italy will do so. Departure is scheduled from Misrata airport because Tripoli airport is still closed. We are working to ensure the maximum safety and security of our fellow citizens, but in the talks held by our diplomatic representatives in Tripoli, it emerged that there is no intention to harm Italian citizens in any way, so I would say that we can be optimistic about everything concerning the situation of our compatriots." This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani at a press conference following the informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Antalya, Turkey. ‘In short, there is no serious danger for Italians at the moment, certainly caution and vigilance are required, but the tireless work of diplomats and police officers guarantees the safety of all our citizens,’ emphasised the head of the Foreign Ministry.
