Rome, 15 May (LaPresse) – Russia is gathering forces on the front line for a possible new offensive aimed at conquering more Ukrainian territory. This was reported by CNN, citing two US officials. Russian commanders ‘aspire to create a large force,’ said the first US official, adding that the likely offensive is aimed at gaining more ground in eastern Ukraine. ‘Putin will try to take as much territory as possible up to the outskirts of Kiev,’ said the second US official. ‘The Russians will do everything they can to gain as much territory as possible.’
