Rome, 17 May (LaPresse) – The Kremlin spokesman said that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is “possible” if the delegations from Moscow and Kiev reach ‘certain agreements’. ‘Such a meeting, as a result of the work of the delegations of the two sides, if these delegations reach certain agreements, is possible. We consider it possible,’ said Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Tass. ‘Russia will prepare and present to the Ukrainian side a list of conditions for a ceasefire,’ Peskov added. ‘We have agreed to exchange lists of conditions for a ceasefire, the work continues, it is ongoing, the Russian side will prepare and transfer this list,’ Peskov continued, who did not want to reveal what this list will contain. ‘Negotiations are still ongoing and should take place behind closed doors,’ Peskov stressed, adding that there had been no contact between Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump after Friday's talks in Istanbul.
