Milan, May 21 (LaPresse/AP) – Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) artillery strikes hit the third floor of al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza Strip, while drones targeted the hospital’s water tanks. The Indonesian Hospital and al-Awda are among the few remaining medical centers in the region. In recent days, they have been surrounded by Israeli troops, preventing anyone from entering or leaving the premises. Al-Awda’s courtyard and its ambulances have been targeted since Monday. Both hospitals, along with another hospital and three primary healthcare centers, are located within the evacuation zone, though Israel has not ordered the facilities themselves to be evacuated.
