Milan, May 21 (LaPresse) – At least 20 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since midnight, according to Al Jazeera.
Initially, the broadcaster had reported 17 deaths in Israeli raids since midnight, but later updated the toll after a new Israeli strike in the Maen area of Khan Younis, which caused at least 3 more deaths.
The city of Khan Younis has been hit by more than 20 airstrikes targeting homes in the eastern and southern neighborhoods.
Before the Maen strike, at least 4 deaths had already been recorded in Khan Younis, while another 4 people were killed in the nearby town of Abasan al-Kabira.
