Trento, 22 May (LaPresse) – ‘We have left the Silk Road, but relations with China are excellent and we are actually strengthening them.’ This was stated by Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during a video link with the Trento Economy Festival organised by Gruppo 24 Ore together with Trentino Marketing. ‘We have worked on the Venice-Shanghai flight and are working on other commercial flights between China and Northern Italy,’ he added. ‘But we cannot look only to China. Italy must also look to other markets such as India, Latin America, Turkey, the Far East, the Indo-Pacific area and South Africa.’
