Rome, May 25 (LaPresse) – The Russian Ministry of Defense has stated that, with the latest exchange of 303 prisoners per side, Russia and Ukraine have completed the agreed exchange of 1,000 prisoners each, as negotiated in Istanbul.
"In accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached on May 16 in Istanbul, between May 23 and 25, the Russian and Ukrainian sides carried out an exchange based on the formula of 1,000 for 1,000 people," the ministry said, as quoted by Interfax.
