Milan, 27 May (LaPresse) – Regarding tariffs, ‘I have just been informed that the EU has asked to quickly set the dates for meetings. This is a positive development.’ US President Donald Trump wrote this in a post on his social media platform Truth. "I hope that, in the end, they will accept my request to China, opening European countries to trade with the United States of America. If they do, both sides will be very happy and successful,‘ he added. In the same post, the US president said he was ’extremely pleased with the allocation of 50% of customs duties to the European Union, especially since they were stalling (to put it mildly!) in negotiations with us."
