Ukraine, Kuleba: ‘A turning point is far off, only the US can impose it’

Milan, 29 May (LaPresse) – "We have experienced three terrible nights in the last week. Then one morning Trump called President Putin “crazy” and we witnessed a miracle: for two consecutive nights Kiev was not attacked. This tells us that the bombs can be stopped, but it can only happen if the United States takes a clear stance against Russia.‘ So said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with “Repubblica”. ’I don't want to disappoint anyone: in diplomacy, contacts, the exchange of documents and phone calls are very important. But what really matters is that the parties have the motivation to stop the war. And when I look around, I see no motivation on Putin's part to end the massacres. Anyone who thinks that Putin's war has anything to do with NATO expansion either knows nothing or is playing into the Russian president's hands."
