Rome, May 31 (LaPresse) – "If the problem is nuclear weapons, we ourselves reject them. We have been and remain spokespersons for the opposition to nuclear weapons," said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The diplomat emphasized that Tehran will not accept any demand to stop uranium enrichment, calling such pressure an unacceptable form of foreign domination. "Being forced to say that we cannot proceed with enrichment because of others' concerns basically means denying our sovereignty," he explained in a televised speech. "No one in Iran will accept that this right be denied: it would be submission to foreign domination."
