Paris, 1 June (LaPresse) – Two fans are dead and a police officer is in a coma following celebrations in France for Paris Saint-Germain's historic Champions League victory over Inter Milan. A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in the town of Dax during a street party, according to the national police. The second victim is a 20-year-old man who lost his life in Paris after his scooter was hit by a car during the PSG victory celebrations. The circumstances of both cases are under investigation. The police officer was hit by a firework thrown by the crowd. Nearly 200 people were injured and over 500 arrested. ‘People were clearly there to loot and attack the police, they weren't even watching the match,’ commented Paris police chief Laurent Nuñez.
