Moscow, June 5 (LaPresse) – Russia will respond to Kyiv’s attack on its airports “in the manner and when our military deems appropriate,” said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, according to Tass agency. Regarding yesterday’s phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Peskov described it as “constructive” and said “there is no point in focusing on the duration.” He added, “Sometimes many important things can be said in a shorter time, as happened yesterday.” Peskov also emphasized, “President Putin would prefer that Trump condemn the terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime. During yesterday’s phone call, the U.S. President stated he had no information about the preparation of this terrorist act by the Kyiv regime. Speaking of the international assessment in general, we would obviously prefer to hear a strong condemnation, at least for this terrorist act.”
