Turin, June 5 (LaPresse) – The Russian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrei Kelin, stated that Ukraine's recent attacks risk escalating the conflict into a Third World War, partly blaming the UK.

In an interview with Sky News UK, Kelin warned that Ukraine's actions “are taking the conflict to a different level of escalation,” adding that Kyiv “should not try to trigger a Third World War.” “This is the worst-case scenario we can imagine,” he said.

Kelin pointed the finger at the UK, claiming that Ukraine must have received assistance to carry out such attacks. “This kind of attack obviously involves the use of highly advanced technologies, so-called geospatial data, which can only be provided by those who possess it. Namely, London and Washington,” he said.

“I don't believe the United States is involved—this was denied by President Trump, certainly—but it has not been denied by London,” he added.
