Rome, June 7 (LaPresse) – Donald Trump should “suspend” Elon Musk’s security clearance “pending investigations into drugs and involvement with China. Meanwhile, it is necessary to ensure that the government has control over the management of SpaceX, because Musk threatened to cut its largest government-funded program. Musk is clearly an unstable person. And is he an illegal immigrant? I believe so.”
This was stated by Donald Trump’s former strategist, Steve Bannon, in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
Bannon said he is “very worried” that Musk came into possession of sensitive data. “An independent verification by the Office of Management and Budget would be needed to understand first of all what he has discovered, because we still don’t know,” he explained.
Regarding Musk’s next moves, Bannon suggested that Musk might return to the Democratic fold. His plan would be to convince the Democrats that he is ‘Mr. Climate Change,’ that Trump wants to burn the planet, and that the left will accept him. “They will take the money and accept him with all his madness.”
Finally, Bannon explained that, in his opinion, what happened between Trump and Musk shows that MAGA “is the most powerful political movement in modern American history.” “These ‘tech bros’ came on board after Trump’s victory and they have the money, but he doesn’t care; he will do what is right for the country,” he concluded. “Tariffs are central to the president’s economic plan.”
