Washington (USA), 9 June (LaPresse) – California is suing the Trump administration over its decision to send National Guard troops in response to protests in Los Angeles against anti-immigration raids. The state's attorney general, Rob Bonta, announced the move, explaining that the legal action aims to overturn President Trump's order to call in the National Guard despite objections from Governor Gavin Newsom. ‘We do not take lightly the President's abuse of authority and the illegal mobilisation of California National Guard troops,’ Bonta said at a press conference.
