Turin, 9 June (LaPresse) – Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has ordered the army to show a video about 7 October to detained activists, following the seizure of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition's “Madleen”, a ship carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Katz congratulated the Israeli army on its “swift” takeover of the Madleen. In a statement on X, the minister said he had ordered the army to show a video documenting the attack carried out by Hamas on 7 October to the detained activists upon their arrival at the Israeli port of Ashdod. Katz said it would be ‘appropriate’ for Thunberg and the other activists to witness the filming of the ‘atrocious acts’ committed during the 7 October assault. ‘It is appropriate that the anti-Semitic Greta and her fellow Hamas supporters see exactly who the Hamas terrorist organisation they have come to support is, and who they are working for, and what atrocities they have committed against women, the elderly and children, and whom Israel is fighting to protect,’ he wrote on X.
