If we hadn't done so, Los Angeles would have been completely destroyed.’ This was stated in a post on Truth by Donald Trump, who believes that ‘the incompetent “Governor Gavin Newsom and 'Mayor” Karen Bass should say: “Thank you, President Trump, you are wonderful. Without you, we would be nothing.”’ Instead, Trump writes, Newsom and Bass ‘choose to lie to the people of California and America by saying that we weren't needed and that these are “peaceful protests”.
