Turin, June 10 (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday during a telephone conversation that he wants to see an end to the war in Gaza. This was reported by Israeli broadcaster Channel 12. Trump told Netanyahu that he expects him to end the war not only by reaching a ceasefire and an agreement for the release of hostages through the Witkoff negotiations currently underway, but by ensuring that the conflict ends completely. According to the broadcaster, the US president said that ending the war would facilitate negotiations with Iran and Saudi Arabia. Channel 12 added that Washington would be willing to offer strong guarantees to Hamas to bring the conflict to an end.
