Turin, 13 June (LaPresse) – ‘Russia condemns Israel's actions, which violate the United Nations Charter and international law. The Russian side has fully supported efforts to peacefully resolve the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear programme and has put forward specific initiatives aimed at finding mutually acceptable agreements.’ This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by the Kremlin, referring to telephone conversations with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. ‘Russia will continue to contribute to the de-escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel,’ reads the statement reported by Interfax.
