Milan, June 15 (LaPresse) – “What Israel has done now is sabotage the negotiations, and we regret that the U.S. government has supported this move. In the past two days, we have received messages from the United States through various channels stating that the U.S. is not involved, but we do not believe this claim. If they maintain this, it would be good for them to state it explicitly. A private message is not enough. The United States needs to clearly declare its position and condemn the attack on nuclear facilities.”
This was said by Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, speaking before diplomats in Tehran, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim. “Israel does not want to negotiate, and the aggression against Iran in the midst of negotiations shows the Israeli regime’s opposition to any negotiations. This has happened many times in recent years,” Araghchi added, emphasizing in another part of his speech that according to Tehran, Israel’s attack on Iran could never have happened “without the agreement and support of the United States.”
