Milan, June 16 (LaPresse) – The Israeli army (IDF) has confirmed that it bombed the headquarters of Iran’s state broadcaster in Tehran, claiming that “this center was used by the armed forces to carry out military operations under civilian cover.”
“The attack was also carried out in a targeted manner to minimize harm to uninvolved civilians,” the IDF stated.
Prior to the strike, the Israeli military had issued an evacuation notice for a large area of Tehran where the state TV headquarters is located, and had made phone calls to people in the area, the IDF added.
