Milan, 17 June (LaPresse/AP) – US President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One during his return flight to Washington from the G7 summit in Canada, said he was not ready to give up on diplomatic talks and that he might send Vice President JD Vance and special envoy Steve Witkoff to meet with the Iranians. ‘I could do that,’ he said. ‘It depends on what happens when I get back,’ he added. Trump reiterated that ‘Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, it's very simple.’
