This was reported by Russian state media, quoting remarks made by Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, during his visit to North Korea on Tuesday. North Korea has sent thousands of soldiers and conventional weapons in recent months to support Russia's war against Ukraine, as part of an expanding military partnership between the two countries. Russian state media stated that Shoigu and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un discussed, during a visit to Pyongyang earlier this month, the reconstruction of the Kursk region.
