Madrid (Spain), June 19 (LaPresse) – On the anniversary of his proclamation as king before the Spanish Parliament, King Felipe VI of Spain has decided, for the first time, to grant noble titles to prominent figures in the fields of culture, science, and sport. Among them is tennis champion Rafa Nadal, who has been awarded the hereditary title of Marqués de Llevant de Mallorca. The news was announced by the Spanish Royal Household.
