Rome, June 23 (LaPresse) – Tehran considers the actions of the United States and Israel against Iran to be “illegitimate” and therefore claims it has “the right to self-defense.” This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during today’s meeting in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “We want to thank Russia for firmly condemning these actions by Israel and the United States. Russia is on the right side of history and international law today,” the Iranian official added.
