Milan, June 23 (LaPresse) – A Russian missile strike hit a high school in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, in the Odessa region, killing 2 people, while others may still be trapped under the rubble. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on X.
"A completely insane Russian missile strike directly hit a high school in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, in the Odessa region. According to early reports, it was likely a ballistic missile. There were no children in the school, as it is currently summer vacation, but some staff members were present. Unfortunately, some people may still be trapped under the rubble. It has already been confirmed that 2 people were killed," Zelensky wrote, adding that "the high school was almost completely destroyed."
"Rescue operations are underway, involving all necessary emergency services," he stated.
"None of these Russian attacks are accidental: the Russian military knows exactly where to strike. These are demonstrative attacks," Zelensky said, emphasizing that "the Russian leadership has no intention of changing or ending the war voluntarily."
