Rome, 24 June (LaPresse) – ‘In light of the achievement of the operation's objectives, and in full coordination with President Trump, Israel has accepted the president's proposal for a bilateral ceasefire.’ This is according to a statement from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the statement, ‘the armed forces have gained full air control over Tehran, inflicted serious damage on the military leadership and destroyed dozens of central Iranian government targets.’ Israel ‘thanks President Trump and the United States for their support for our defence and for their participation in eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat,’ the statement added.
