Iran, IAEA: "Rebuilding nuclear sites is not impossible"

Milan, June 25 (LaPresse) – The head of the IAEA, the United Nations’ nuclear agency, Rafael Grossi, suggested that Tehran could rebuild its infrastructure. Some of it survived the attacks and “rebuilding the infrastructure is not impossible,” he said after meeting with senior Austrian officials today. “It’s work that Iran knows how to do. It will take time.” Grossi stated that he aims to “re-establish contact” with Iran as soon as possible, so that inspectors can return to nuclear sites. He added, “We cannot afford for the inspection regime to be interrupted because of this.”
