Rome, June 29 (LaPresse) – A senior Hamas official, Mahmoud Mardawi, stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is proposing "impossible conditions" aimed at undermining the possibility of reaching an agreement for a ceasefire and the release of hostages. Furthermore, Netanyahu is reportedly refusing to commit to certain elements of the agreement that he had previously approved. This was reported by Haaretz. On his Telegram channel, Mardawi wrote that the Israeli prime minister insists on releasing only ten hostages, rather than releasing them all in one phase. "Netanyahu is lying when he claims he is not involved in choosing the names of the hostages to be released," Mardawi wrote. "He does not want an agreement."
