Tariffs, Trump: ‘Sign 12 letters, I'll send them on Monday’

Rome, 5 July (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has said he has signed a series of letters outlining the tariff levels proposed on exports from 12 countries, which are scheduled to be sent on Monday. The offers, he said, will not be negotiable: a ‘take it or leave it’ proposal aimed at US trading partners. Trump, according to The Economic Times, spoke to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to New Jersey. ‘I signed some letters and they will be sent on Monday, probably twelve,’ he told reporters. ‘Different amounts of money, different amounts of tariffs.’
