Milan, 8 July (LaPresse) – French President Emmanuel Macron addressed the issue of the war in Ukraine while speaking to the UK Parliament. Macron praised London for being ‘from day one, even before day one’ among Ukraine's closest allies. ‘We have worked hard over the last few years to stand by the Ukrainian people and help them resist,’ he added, pointing out that the Coalition of the Willing, launched by France and the United Kingdom, sends a clear signal ‘that Europeans will never abandon Ukraine, never.’ This was reported by The Guardian. ‘We will fight until the last minute to achieve a ceasefire, to start negotiations and to build this solid and sustainable peace, because it is our security and our principles that are at stake in Ukraine,’ he assured.
