Dhaka (Bangladesh), 10 July (LaPresse/AP) – A special court today indicted former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, accepting charges of crimes against humanity brought against her in connection with last year's mass uprising in which hundreds of students were killed. A three-member jury, chaired by Judge Golam Mortuza Mozumder, indicted Hasina, former Interior Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and former police chief Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun on five counts. Hasina and Khan fled the country and will be tried in absentia.
