Milan, 14 July (LaPresse) – The account on the X platform of Elmo, the puppet from the children's programme “Sesame Street”, was hacked yesterday, causing the beloved character to post anti-Semitic rants full of profanity and anti-Trump statements. The posts have been deleted, but screenshots have been circulated showing Elmo apparently inciting violence against Jews and calling for the release of files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. ‘Elmo's X account was compromised by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including anti-Semitic and racist posts,’ a spokesperson for Sesame Workshop, the creators of “Sesame Street”, told CNN. ‘We are working to restore full control of the account.’
