Iran: US sources tell CBS that Pezeshkian was wounded in Israeli attack in June

Milan, 18 July (LaPresse) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was wounded during one of last month's Israeli attacks on Iran. This is according to CBS News, which reports that it has received confirmation from two US intelligence sources that the initial reports by Iranian state media are accurate. Pezeshkian, according to Iranian state media reports confirmed by CBS, was attending a Supreme National Security Council meeting when the Israeli attack took place, in which the president reportedly suffered leg injuries while fleeing through an emergency shaft.
