Rome, 19 July (LaPresse) – The number of victims following clashes in several Syrian provinces since the escalation in the predominantly Druze province of Al-Suwaidaa on Sunday 13 July has risen to 718. This was announced by the NGO Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, according to which the victims are distributed as follows: 226 people from Al-Suwaidaa, including 80 civilians, 4 children and 4 women; 287 members of the Syrian Ministry of Defence and general security forces; 18 members of Bedouin tribes from Al-Suwaidaa; 15 members of the Ministries of Defence and the Interior killed in Israeli air raids; 3 people, including a woman and two unidentified persons, killed in Israeli air raids targeting the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Damascus; one member of the media killed in clashes in Al-Suwaidaa; 165 people, including 26 women, 6 children and an elderly man, executed by members of the Syrian Ministries of Defence and Interior; 3 civilians belonging to Bedouin tribes, including a woman and a child, executed by Druze fighters.
