Milan, 19 July (LaPresse) – At least 31 people have been injured in an accident in Los Angeles in which a car drove into a crowd on Santa Monica Boulevard. This was reported to NBC News by local fire captain Adam Van Gerpen. Images from the scene show a dented grey vehicle straddling the pavement, with debris scattered on the ground. At least a dozen firefighters can be seen alongside several people sitting on blankets on the ground. In another photo, firefighters appear to be helping to lift someone from the ground near the car. ‘We have received reports of a gunshot wound in one of the victims,’ the fire captain added. The accident occurred at around 2 a.m., 11 a.m. in Italy.
