Rome, 20 July (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin received Ali Larijani, senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, at the Kremlin. This was reported to journalists by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Tass. According to Peskov, ‘the Iranian representative, on instructions from his superiors, conveyed his assessment of the worsening situation in the Middle East and in relation to the Iranian nuclear programme.’
