(LaPresse) – According to reports, White House envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff has landed in Sardinia for talks on a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza, arriving in an aircraft without official insignia. His arrival was reportedly handled with a low profile and reduced security measures, as agreed with the Italian authorities. Talks with Israeli Minister Ron Dermer and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani are said to be taking place on board one of the luxury yachts moored off the Costa Smeralda. According to reports, Witkoff has been booked into one of the most exclusive hotels in the area, where a suite has been reserved for the occasion.
