Thailand-Cambodia: clashes resume at border

Surin (Thailand), 25 July (LaPresse/AP) – The head of Cambodia's Oddar Meanchey province, General Khov Ly, said that clashes on the border with Thailand resumed in the early hours of the morning local time near the ancient temple of Ta Muen Thom. Associated Press journalists near the border heard the sound of artillery fire from dawn. The official also said that at least four civilians were wounded in yesterday's clashes and that more than 4,000 people had been displaced from their villages along the border to evacuation centres.
