Milan, 26 July (LaPresse/AP) – The United Kingdom is ‘working urgently’ with Jordan to get British aid to Gaza. This was announced by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in a newspaper article, following the Israeli army's announcement that it would allow air drops of aid to the Strip as requested by Jordan. A Jordanian official said the aid drops would mainly consist of food and powdered milk. Meanwhile, the humanitarian organisation World Central Kitchen (WCK) has announced that it will resume cooking operations in Deir al-Balah after being forced to halt them due to a lack of food supplies. WCK said it will seek to serve 60,000 meals a day through its field kitchen and its partners' community kitchens.
