Washington, July 27 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump "is losing patience" with Russia and "I think he is becoming increasingly frustrated by the fact that, despite very good interactions with Vladimir Putin on phone calls, it never leads to anything," said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an interview with Fox News. He added that Trump "is losing the will to keep waiting for the Russian side to do something to end this war that was not his, but that he wants to see ended." Rubio, interviewed by Fox News journalist Lara Trump, was responding to a question about the fact that two weeks ago the U.S. president gave Russia 50 days to reach a peace agreement, threatening 100% customs duties otherwise. "I believe he is increasingly frustrated by the fact that, despite very good relations with Vladimir Putin on the phone, nothing ever comes of it. So the time has come to act, and I think the president has made that abundantly clear. He is losing patience," Rubio said.
