The government has stated that officials will continue to seek a negotiated solution. ‘The Federal Council notes with great regret that, despite the progress made in bilateral talks and the very constructive position taken by Switzerland from the outset, the United States intends to impose additional unilateral tariffs on imports from Switzerland,’ the executive wrote in a post on X.
