Washington (USA), 2 August (LaPresse/AP) – US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Newsmax, said that no one asked him to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's former partner, now in prison after being convicted of grooming teenage girls for sexual exploitation by Epstein. ‘I have the right to do so, but no one has asked me,’ Trump said. ‘I don't know anything about it. I don't know the case, but I know I have the right to do so. I have the right to grant clemency, I've done it before, but no one has asked me.’
