Milan, August 5 (LaPresse) – Russian air defense systems shot down 24 Ukrainian drones overnight in the regions of Bryansk, Rostov, Kaluga, and Smolensk, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, as reported by Tass. “Between 10 p.m. on August 4 and 1:40 a.m. Moscow time on August 5, 24 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems: 13 in Bryansk, 7 in Rostov, and 2 each in Kaluga and Smolensk,” the statement said. According to the Kyiv Independent, the Ukrainian drones targeted the Tatsinskaya railway station in the Rostov region. The station serves as a logistics hub for nearby oil infrastructure and is used for grain transportation.
