Washington (USA), August 5 (LaPresse) – Justice Minister Pam Bondi has ordered federal prosecutors to launch a grand jury investigation into allegations that members of the Obama administration fabricated intelligence regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election to harm Donald Trump. CNN reports this, citing a source familiar with the matter. According to procedure, a grand jury may issue subpoenas as part of a criminal investigation and could also proceed with an indictment if the Department of Justice decides to pursue criminal charges.
