Rome, 6 August (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene the security cabinet tomorrow at 6 p.m. local time in his office in Jerusalem, according to the prime minister's office. The news was reported by the Times of Israel. During a three-hour security discussion held yesterday with a select group, Netanyahu received several options for continuing military operations in Gaza from IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir. The cabinet is expected to approve the full military occupation of the Strip tomorrow, despite warnings from Zamir and army officials against such a move.
