Milan, August 6 (LaPresse) – In the absence of an open negotiation channel with the United States, the Brazilian government today submitted a request for consultations to the U.S. mission at the World Trade Organization (WTO), based in Geneva, Switzerland, regarding the tariff increases imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. This was reported by O Globo.
This represents the first step toward a WTO action against the surcharges imposed by the United States on Brazilian products.
